How time flies! About half a year ago， we were happily here to give our American friend， Mr. White a warm welcome. Now he is leaving our company for his own country.
Although it is not a long time，Mr. Clinton has successfully accomplished his mission here. As a skilled and experienced engineer，he not only has helped us to fix the imported machine， but also he has instructed us how to operate and maintain it. He is always careful in his work and patient with the Chinese employees here. So，he is popular with the people around and has made quite a lot of Chinese friends. I am sure his stay here will be an unforgetable experience for both Mr. Clinton and all of us.
Now let's express our hearty thanks to him and wish him a pleasant journey home and good health.

Students on the Move for Their Exam ------ Fair or Unfair?
As is known to us，each year some students from high-score areas move to other provinces to take the College Entrance Examinations. Nowadays more and more people are aware that it’s wrong for the students to do so.
First of all，those students who are from high score areas would add more pressure to the districts they move to，which means an unfair situation to the students in low-score areas. Secondly， moving to the low-score areas to take exams seems to be just favorable to the powerful and not fair to ordinary people. So that is also an unfair thing for the common.
In my opinion，the government should take some effective measures to control this phenomenon. Such things are obviously not helpful to us building a harmonious society. Besides， it can easily cause some problems to the society. In a word，something must be done to stop things like this happening again in the future.

To be honest，without your great help， I might not have made so great advances in my major. Nowadays advertisements can be seen in various media，such as newspapers，TV and the Internet.
There is no doubt that advertisements have many advantages. First，they can offer information on goods，services，culture，employment and so on. Second，with advertisements， customers can save a lot of time in shopping. What's more，advertisements also help factories or service providers find their markets.
However，each coin has two sides. Advertisements also have some disadvantages. One of the obvious disadvantages is that they are just a waste of time when we don't need them，for example， while watching TV programs. To make things worse，some advertisements are misleading and cheating. Furthermore，huge advertising expenses are shared by consumers，which seems to be unfair.
In my view，good advertisements are really beneficial to people's life. But unhealthy ones are harmful to the society. Therefore，I think the government should strictly monitor advertisements so that bad ones can be avoided. Only in this way can the ad industry develop smoothly and healthily.
