英语六级汇量要求是5500左右，英语四级词汇量要求是4000-4500左右。
从词汇量上看，六级的单词量明显多于四级。同样地，四六级的单词量肯定有一部分是重合的，所以，只要四级单词记得扎实，备考六级时，只需要记四级没有的单词即可。
英语四六级好考吗
英语四六级还是比较好考的。考试攻略如下：
1.如果你高中英语成绩良好，那么大一就考四六级的话，会比较容易，复习也不需要花太多工夫，但一整套星火真题还是请做下来，找找题型的解题规律，还有定下自己的做题顺序，争取在考试时间内完成，第二套第三套就越做越顺利。
2.一整套真题做不了多久，背单词和做题最后一个月再开始都没什么问题，但是你最后一个月就不要拖拖拉拉，要有耐心。对我来说，最重要的是听力，如果听力差的话，现在去网上找找四六级听力真题，然后尽早根据自己的情况练听力。
3.六级，要看你四级过后复习得怎么样，因为中间还是空了近半年的时间，不是很难，但要尽早复习，题型没有变化，重要的是单词量单词量单词量!还有听力。四六级还是好过的，前提是好好背单词练听力和做题。
